The card posted today is the card I made for my card mingle buddy Cabio! I didn't get a chance to take a picture before mailing it so she was kind enough to send me a picture so I could share it with all of you - thanks Cabio!

I used Happy Halloween Fhiona and the fun designer paper is the MME - Boo To You!

Miami was a blast!

Well Chris, myself and 8 of our friends survived the Miami heat and had a fabulous time! We are now back in the cool Ontario weather and I'm ok with that because even though I had a ton of fun I missed my son and all my craft stuff! It's good to be home :)

We had a really fun evening out in South Beach, shopped at the Aventura Mall - it's HUGE, enjoyed lots of beach time along with a Miami Dolphins football game!

As promised I have a few pictures to share with you and hope to have some more once our friends share theirs with us.

The sketch was a ton of fun to work with and after playing with different options I decided to make mine into a birthday bag since today is my 33rd birthday!!!



I've used the adorable little giraffe from the Wild About You stamp set and the background star image is from the Birthday Boy stamp set. I stamped it in a very pale pink so it's hard to see in the picture but you should be able to click on the picture to make it bigger so you can see it better. I couldn't wait to put on some of that pink jungle satin ribbon that I bought awhile back and just knew I would have the perfect use for it one day! All the edges are distressed as well and then I added some pink pearls to finish it off. I was in a total pink mood and I love the way it turned out!

Here is my card I made with all my choco-berry inspiration...

I used Home Sweet Home and the Happy Birthday sentiment from the HB mermaid set along with some yummy chocolate satin ribbon and pearls along the bottom. I was so pleased with how my little blue home turned out!

YNS Challenge #2!!!

My card is a cute little fishy!!! I had no idea what shape I wanted to make until my sweet hubby came home one evening with those cheesy fish shaped crackers and I took one look at the bag, went running to my craft room and didn't come out until I created my fish card :) FUN! Thank you Chris!!! I've used different little sayings and the starfish image from the mermaid sets along with some pearl/gem combos.

Happy 'Secret Surprise' Friday!

October 31st is sneaking up on us and I have to admit that I love Halloween!!! I especially enjoy Halloween now that we have a child to enjoy all the excitement with which brings me back to when I was a kid. I remember this one house in my neighbourhood growing up that would set up a really spooky yet fun Halloween scene every year. We would all run away screaming once we heard their creepy music playing but we always came running back for more! My favorite part was having to walk to plank for my candy! That was so COOL! I hope there are fun things like that around here for Brandon - he would just love that!

I used the Cute Kitty for my card and I must say I love how it turned out! I crimped the ribbon for a fun look and put a MME Boo To You! brad in the center and colored the kitty in with Copics. The designer paper is MME Boo To You! as well and of course I've added my favorite baubles!

Thanks Jen!

I hope everyone had a terrific long weekend! It was Thanksgiving here in Ontario so it was busy but a lot of fun as well :) We got together with lots of family, ate a ton of food and then Brandon was so tired after running around with his cousins that he slept in every morning until around 9 am - WHOOO HOOOO!!! that was a real treat!

More Challenge FUN!!!

It's time for another stamp giveaway!

Well I had a great weekend and I hope you all did as well :) We went apple picking yesterday and even though it rained we still had a really fun time! Brandon loved all the fun things they had at the apple farm like the tractors, slides and he especially loved picking up large amounts of hay and throwing them up in the air followed by a happy dance and the I'm so proud of myself giggle - too cute!!! Good Morning!

I hope everyone is enjoying their week!

Chris and I were supposed to go on a balloon ride last night but unfortunately it got cancelled for the 3rd time due to weather so we'll have to wait until next summer - this was his wedding anniversary gift to me {sweet huh?} so I wonder if he'll try to carry the gift over and re gift it next June LOL
